Ride the trolley to the “Pumpkin Patch” field to view an aircraft display from Skylark Airport (Weather Permitting).
While down at the field enjoy ice cream from the Ice Cream Truck. Airplanes & the Ice Cream Truck will be available from 11am-2pm with the Museum staying open until 4:30pm.
Additionally you will have the opportunity to view a railroad maintenance car “Track Speeder” which is not normally on display.
Half price admission for East Windsor Residents with ID.
Earth is home to over a million species of animals! Discover the characteristics that group these animals together then compare their differences. Visitors will enjoy seeing skeletons, furs, scales, and so much more. Meet three separate live animal species during this program.
This program will be held in the Museum’s theater and is included with admission.
Dress up as your favorite Super Hero or Princess and join us for a fun memorable day. Spiderman and Ariel will be roaming the grounds from 11am-2pm and face painting will be held from 11am-3pm with the Museum staying open until 4:30pm. Click here for more information on the event.
Additionally, take as many trolley rides as you would like operated by period dressed motormen. Learn historic information about each car you ride and how the museum began. Inside the Visitor Center you will find more static trolley cars and artifacts and a gift shop to buy that ‘special’ souvenir. On the same grounds is the Connecticut Fire Museum complete with antique fire trucks and apparatus. All activities and Fire Truck Museum entrance is included with your admission price.
For the convenience of all, food and refreshments will be available for purchase.
Every Monday throughout the summer at 11am & 2pm join us for Storytime Trolley featuring stories about the adventures of trolleys and trains. The reading will be inside one of our historic trolleys and a trolley ride will follow. Every story is different and all ages are welcome!
 Storytime is included with admission.
Put your building skills to the test and compete in a LEGO Contest during your visit building Trains or Trolleys from the past and future. The contest is geared for ages 4-12 and every week there will be a different theme. Winners will be awarded prizes in three age categories, and participants need not be present to win. Creations stay at the Museum to be broken down at the end of the day. This program will run every Friday from 11am-3pm until August 17th.
LEGO Contest is included with admission.
