Who is EWCC’s Photographer?

I’m Courtney and I’m the owner and lead photographer of Courtney Lynn Photography. I’ve been in love with photography since I was child… starting out taking photos with disposable film cameras while chasing my pets around the backyard. (Who else remembers getting photos developed?)

I decided to pursue a career in photography after watching Alzheimer’s disease slowly take memories away from my grandfather. I would show him photos I took and sometimes a memory would spark and he would know who I was. One day, during a moment of clarity for him, he told me I should be a photographer. I could think of no better way to spend my life than creating memories that no disease or length of time could take away. My grandfather died 2 days before I began photography school and I worked hard to create this business in memory of him. This is my 14th year as a professional photographer and my 11th year as an official business owner.

I have an almost 9 month old daughter and she is my world!

I love true crime shows, reading mystery novels, summer sunsets, Halloween, sushi and iced coffee.

I have a vintage camera collection of over 130 cameras. I love antiques, old houses and vintage photography.
