Syme Family Farm is ready to Welcome You to Syme Family Farm for the Christmas season!
Here are a few tips they have provided if you are joining them this weekend for cut-your-own trees!
From the Syme’s Family
1) Reservations are required for Cut-Your-Own trees. Visit our website to reserve your spot, be sure to visit the Christmas section where many of your frequently asked questions are answered.
2)We will have a tractor circling the farm to pick up your cut tree and get it back down the hill. For the do it your selfers we suggest you bring a tarp for easy sliding, it works well especially in wet field conditions.
3)We supply the tree netting (so your tree fits more easily through the front door) and twine (to secure it to your vehicle).
4)When in our tree plantation, please be mindful of our “baby trees” that are sometimes interplanted around our older trees. Please do not trample them, they are the future of our farm!
5)You can see some trees from the parking lot, be sure to walk up and over the tree hill to browse, there are many more on the backside of the farm that you can’t see from the bottom.
6)Wear appropriate footwear and dress for the weather. Keep in mind that we are a working farm with uneven land that can be muddy.
7)Our rustic Christmas Barn is filled with hundreds of hand-decorated wreaths and locally produced, unique gift ideas
