Organizations are cordially invited to join the East Windsor 250^th Anniversary Parade! To participate, please complete the attached entry form and return it no later than Saturday, September 1st to East Windsor 250^th Anniversary Committee, PO Box 804, East Windsor, CT 06088 or E-Mail to [email protected] The route will step off at 2:50 P.M. beginning at the East Windsor Park and will run along Main Street, ending at the corner of Route 140 and Main. Detailed staging info will be emailed to the contact listed no later than September 15^th. We look forward to your participation in the most exciting parade we have ever had! Our theme is “It Takes a Village, Maybe Five, to Make East Windsor Come Alive!” We hope to see groups of all ages participate and decorate floats celebrating East Windsor’s history. Use your imagination and let’s make this the best parade ever! FLOAT CONTEST: Prizes will be awarded by each of the five villages (Broad Brook, Melrose, Scantic, Warehouse Point and Windsorville). Winners may pick up their awards at the East Windsor Heritage Day Celebration and Picnic following the parade.
