East Windsor Greater Together Community Funds Accepting Grant Applications
The East Windsor Greater Together Community Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving is now accepting grant applications.
The East Windsor Community Fund Advisory Committee has allocated $30,000 for the first iteration of grants in amounts of $250 to $10,000 per grant request.
East Windsor residents and nonprofit groups may prepare an application for grant money to meet a need in town.
To qualify for a grant, a group must be a 501c3 registered nonprofit that serves the residents of East Windsor or partner with a registered nonprofit or designated a fiscal agent.
The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving (HFPG) established a community fund in each of the 29 towns it serves. The Advisory Committee consists of East Windsor Residents under the guidance of the HFPG that will oversee distribution of the grant money as a way of encouraging residents to identify, take ownership, and address the needs of East Windsor in a broad and inclusive manner.
The Request for Proposal that explains how to receive a grant and grant application are now available on the Harford Foundation’s Greater Together Community Fund East Windsor Landing Page at: https://www.hfpg.org/donors/ways-to-give/community-funds/east-windsor.
