EAST WINDSOR, CONN., November 5th, 2021– The Connecticut Trolley Museum presents Holiday Fun with several events planned. These events include:
“Winterfest and the “Tunnel of Lights”
Winterfest 2021 and the “Tunnel of Lights” beginning Friday, November 26th.
Winterfest will be held from 5PM until 9PM Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from Nov 26th through Dec 19th.
Additionally the Museum will be open from Dec 26th through Dec 30th . Winterfest and the “Tunnel of Lights” is celebrating its 43rd year as a family holiday tradition.
Halls are decked both inside and outside with over 15,000 lights. Outside, closed trolley cars transport jolly guests down a tunnel of lights as they sing traditional Christmas Carols with their trolley car operators.
For an open air view of the “Tunnel of Lights,” one open sleigh car is lit up entirely with holiday lights. Be sure to dress warm and bring blankets.
Inside, the Visitor Center is decorated like a Winter Wonderland with multiple model train layouts and lights galore. A food vendor will be on-site serving hot cocoa, coffee, donuts & cookies up until Dec 19th.
Admission prices are $15-$20 per person and all ticket sales must be made in advance at www.ct-trolley.org.

Pictures with Santa
Pictures with Santa will be held on November 26th from 5pm-9pm along with everything Winterfest and the Tunnel of Lights has to offer.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to capture your holiday photo with Santa, positioned by vintage trolley cars taken by renown photographer Marc Glucksman of River Rail Photo.

The cost is $20 for Winterfest patrons and $50 for non Winterfest patrons. Reservations must be made in advance at
Storytime Trolley with Santa & Elf
A great program for our younger visitors. Storytime trolley with Santa & Elf will run on Saturday and Sunday Dec 11th & 12th. Visitors will enjoy a ride in a decorated vintage trolley car where Santa will visit with each child.
Also, while on board Santa’s elf will read a holiday story and each child will complete a holiday craft.
Following the Trolley ride, Museum guests will head to the Visitors Center which has been transformed into a Winter Wonderland with multiple model train layouts & lights galore.
The cost is $25 for any age and ticket sales must be made in advance at www.ct-trolley.org.
Holiday Centerpiece Workshop
Holiday Centerpiece Workshop will take place at the Museum inside the beautifully decorated Visitor Center from 6pm-8pm. Enjoy the views of Winterfest while building your centerpiece.
Broad Brook Gardens will be demonstrating how to build the centerpiece and all supplies are included in the cost.
