Hello Friend of CT Trolley Museum,

We are deeply grateful to our members, friends, and supporters for helping to keep the Museum thriving. Your generosity and dedication make all the difference.

To keep our wheels turning, we are asking for your support. Our funding sources during each year come from admissions, special events, grants, and your generous gifts. Our Annual Fund helps with the restoration and maintenance of our historic trolley cars, educational programs, and exhibits that bring the museum to life.

In 2024, thanks to your support, we achieved remarkable progress! We have:

  •  Improved our infrastructure by replacing broken bonds and repairing signals on our mainline, cleared trees and vegetation, installed energy efficient HVAC units in our buildings and are finalizing a new security system.
  •  Trained four new motormen and three new conductors while also introducing a formal docent program to share more of the rich history of the museum with our guests.
  • Continued to maintain, repair and restore our fleet of historical trolleys. Car 16 from Springfield, VT received a new canvas roof, we reintroduced Montreal Tramways car 2600 from after an eight year absence, and we have just recently completed newly upholstered rattan seats in Connecticut Car 1326. Our largest restoration project, Connecticut car 3001 made excellent progress with a new roof and mechanical systems being reinstalled in the car.

Your gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. Join us in keeping history alive by donating today.

A gift in any amount would be appreciated. For gifts between $500 and $2,500, we will recognize you as a Heritage Club member and above $2,500 as a Leadership Circle member.

All gifts will be recognized in our Museum’s 2024 Contributions Report, unless you wish to remain anonymous. You may also designate a gift specifically to Connecticut car 3001.

If you have already contributed in 2024 THANK YOU! If you are able to make an additional gift, we would be deeply grateful, as every contribution helps.
