The Museum will be reopening this coming Saturday, June 20th, 2020. Visitors will have the opportunity to take a trolley ride, enjoy a guided tour of the Main Hall and take a closer look at the Trolleys that are housed in Kelly Barn.
We will have a limited schedule to start which includes Thursday, Friday, Friday Night and Saturday. The Museum’s hours of operation will be from 10am-3pm all three days and Friday Night from 6pm-9pm. We have special time slots for Museum Members and Library Pass holders. Storytime Trolley will be held every Thursday & Friday morning at 10am.
Tickets must be purchased in advance as this will help us best control the amount of visitors on campus at one time, as well as schedule our staff and volunteers most effectively. You will not be able to purchase admission tickets at the Museum during this phase.

Please read and follow our Visitor Policy in Response to Covid 19-
• Connecticut Trolley Museum is re-opening under Phase 2 of Connecticut’s Re-Open the State Plan. Tickets will be available on Eventbrite. Tickets must be purchased in advance as this will help us best control the amount of visitors on campus at one time, as well as schedule our staff and volunteers most effectively.
• The Museum will sell a limited amount of tickets per hour so visitors can stay distant from other visitors.
• By purchasing tickets at this time, you and all visitors in your group accept and agree to adhere to our re-opening policies as written.
• Visitors are required to bring & wear masks or cloth face covering that completely covers the nose and mouth unless doing so would be contrary to his or her health or safety due to a medical condition. Visitors will be asked to leave the property if they are not willing to comply and may face additional sanctions if the East Windsor Police Department is called to assist.
• Those in high-risk groups and over the age of 65 are encouraged to stay safe and stay home
• If visitors are not following visitor protocols after a staff member reminds them visitors will be asked to leave the property and if they are not willing to comply they may face additional sanctions.
• Visitors must bring their own snacks as there is no food available for purchase except for vending machines
• Restrooms will be available inside our Visitors Center and will be cleaned and disinfected multiple times each day by Museum employees or Volunteers with EPA registered products. The time they were last cleaned and disinfected will be posted on a sign on the restroom door.
• The Museum will have hand sanitizer readily available.
• Employees and volunteers are not able to take group photos with a visitor’s device.
• All visitors should comply with current standards for physical distancing on campus, maintaining a distance of 6 feet between individuals. Measures have been put in place (tape, dividers, etc.) to help you maintain physical distancing while you’re visiting us, but it’s up to group members to follow them.
• Under no circumstances should a visitor, volunteer, member or employee visit the Museum if they show signs of illness.
• Museum Volunteers and/or employees will sanitize equipment used by visitors with EPA registered products before and after each trolley car ride and visit to the Visitor Center, paying particular attention to “high-touch” surfaces.
