A HEARTY THANK YOU to all our members, friends, supporters, and sponsors of the Connecticut Trolley Museum.

In these challenging times our growth and success would have been impossible without your generous support. We are grateful that you have found it in your heart to make the CT Trolley Museum part of your giving priority.

In 2023 your gifts provided the resources for us to expand our special events throughout the year including offering more days of operations, maintained our fleet of trolleys, improved our facilities including conservation upgrades, and so much more.

We can’t say it enough: THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

It’s the continued support of community members like you that has played a pivotal role in enabling us to fulfill our mission of preserving and educating the public to the importance trolleys once had in America. Our fleet of well-maintained trolley cars allow families to experience firsthand what it might have been like to commute to work, or travel to school, or just go out for a family outing one hundred years ago. It is a living, rolling history lesson. To     enhance the guest experience in history we are increasing guest services, barely a week will go by without some special event for the family taking place, as well as our popular yearly events, Pumpkin Patch, Rails to the Dark Side, and Winter Fest Tunnel of Lights.

Behind all of the events offered by the Trolley Museum are the projects that are out of the public eye that are just as critical to our ongoing daily operations. Some of the projects are urgent, such as replacing the roof on Kelly Barn where we house the fleet of trolleys to be used for operations; repair and shore up the service pit in the restoration barn so that staff and volunteers can work in safe conditions. Other projects are either ongoing or in the process of commencing: restoration of Connecticut Car 3001 so that it can be added to our operating fleet; upgrading the heating and cooling system in the Visitor Center, and renovation of theater in the Visitor Center so will be able to be better able to serve our guests with new and exciting programs and activities.

This is an exciting time to be part of the Connecticut Trolley Museum! We invite you to join us again by contributing today. Consider joining the Leadership Circle with your gift of $2,500 and up or the Heritage Club with gifts ranging from $500 to $2,000. No matter the amount of your gift be assured your generosity makes a significant impact and together we can continue to inspire, educate, and unite through the living history of the trolley car.

If you have already contributed in 2024 THANK YOU!
