If your child is fascinated by Dinosaurs, then Dino-Trolley is the event for you. Dino-Trolley will be held on July 8th & 9th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
All activities will be on-going throughout the day including:
- Dino Hunt – Search for dinosaurs while on board a safari trolley. Large scale dinosaurs will be hidden in the woods along the railway; can you spot them as the trolley goes by?
- Fossil Dig Station – Dig and explore fossils while playing a paleontologist.
- I-Spy Scavenger Hunt – Search for dinosaurs throughout the Visitor Center to earn a prize.
- Dinosaur Craft – Make and take home a dinosaur trolley craft.
- Dinosaur Photo Op – Take a picture with an 8-foot Tyrannosaurs Rex who will be walking around the property.
- Dino Egg Hunt – Can you find dinosaurs eggs hidden around the campus? Find an egg to redeem for a prize.
- Photo Station – Take a picture with your group to remember Dino-Trolley!
Inside the Visitor Center you will find static trolley cars and artifacts, a theater showing a dinosaur movie, and a gift shop to buy that ‘special’ souvenir. On the same grounds is the Connecticut Fire Museum complete with antique fire trucks and apparatus. All activities and Fire Truck Museum entrance is included with your admission price. |
