Our first Annual Charity Golf Tournament to benefit all of equine programs and our semi retired herd. Our mission is to give the love of the horse to those who desire it and may not be able to afford it. To also give a forever home to our equine partners.

Rosemary Malin founded Shag Bark 50 years ago. Her daughter Katie Malin-Hunt teach lessons at their farm in East Windsor, CT.
Shag Bark offers weekly lessons. A Preschool program for students ages 2-5 that meets in the spring and fall. We offer Homeschool programs,Equine therapy and more.
Shag Bark Hickory Farm is a nonprofit organization. We are able to provide a scholarship program for families in need and a safe haven for our semi retired horses.
