The Friends of The Warehouse Point Library ‘Bag Sale’
The Friends of the Warehouse Point Library will be holding a Bag Sale starting Saturday May 5th to Saturday May 19th..The bags are $6 unless you provide your own yellow Friends bag, then the cost is $5..
The sale will go on during Library Hours :
Monday – Wednesday 10:00am – 8:00pm
Thursday – Saturday 10:00 am – 5 pm

Interesting Stats on Fidelco Guide Dogs
1. Fidelco Guide Dogs are given to all clients at no cost
2. It takes 2 years, 15,000 hours, and $45,000 direct costs to breed, train, and place every guide dog. (from birth to placement)
Infoshred is donating a truck to Fildeco Guide dogs Open House this weekend on Saturday May 19 th. $10 per bag or box and all the funds raised go directly back to Fidelco’s programs.

It is that time of year again for the East Windsor High School Spring Art Show at the Library. Through the month of May, the library will be displaying artwork in both the Community Room and in the Young Adult section of the main library. A new change this year is the addition of select artworks from the Middle School as well! This show will showcase stunning examples of student artwork from here in town. High School Art Teacher, Katherine Boiczyk and Middle School Art Teacher, Kathryn O’Brien hope many will view and enjoy how the students’ hard work has paid off! Mon-Wed till 8pm
The Connecticut Trolley Museum presents Spring Fling Beer and Winetasting
Sample wine and beer from local wineries and breweries while enjoying all the Museum has to offer! Just Jeannie and New Earth will be performing. Cost will be $15 for adults and seniors (21+) which will cover admission to the museum and the tastings. Children ages 3 and under free, ages 4-12 $7 and ages 13+ $10.
Additionally, take as many trolley rides as you would like operated by period dressed motormen. Learn historic information about each car you ride and how the museum began. Inside the Visitor Center you will find static trolley cars and artifacts, trolleys and a gift shop to buy that ‘special’ souvenir. On the same grounds is the Connecticut Fire Truck Museum complete with antique fire trucks and apparatus. All activities, tastings and Fire Truck Museum entrance is included with your admission price.
Taco Tequila Food Truck will be on site, have lunch and relax while you watch the trolleys arrive and depart from North Road Station. Free Lunch Comics will be on-hand creating caricatures, free with admission!
Confirmed Breweries are Broad Brook Brewery, Powder Hollow Brewery, The Old Burnside Brewing Co, Thomas Hooker Brewery & Wineries are Lost Acres Vineyard, more to be updated.
