Join supporters of the Asnuntuck Community College Foundation for a fun afternoon of golf to raise funds for student schoalrships. Proceeds from the event will support scholarships and student support services in Asnuntuck’s Academic Degree programs and Continuing Education certificates and licensure workforce programs. Put your building skills to the test and compete in a LEGO Contest during your visit building Trains or Trolleys from the past and future. The contest is geared for ages 4-12 and every week will be a different theme. Winners will be awarded prizes in three age categories, and participants need not be present to win. Creations stay at the Museum to be broken down at the end of the day. LEGO contest included with admission. Adults $11, Children ages 4-11 $8, 3 and under Free and Museum members half off
The Fire Truck Show will give visitors the opportunity to get up close and personal with all aspects of the firefighting industry including over twenty fire trucks to view.
During your visit you will also learn more about the Fire Truck Museum collection along with local Fire Departments’ equipment & vehicles. Don’t miss your opportunity to sit in real fire trucks, try on Firefighter’s turnout gear and take home a souvenir kids fire hat.
Ride selected trolleys from our incredible collection, navigate through the Visitors Center packed full of historic trolleys & dress up as a junior motorman at the imagination station. You can ride the Trolley cars as many times as you would like! For the convenience of all, food and refreshments will be available for purchase.
The Connecticut Trolley Museum is located at 58 North Road (Rt. 140) and is a short 15 minutes north of Hartford or a short 15 minutes south of Springfield. The Museum will be open from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Admission is $13.00 for ages 13 and up, $12.00 for seniors 62 and up, $11.00 for ages 4-12 and $4 for ages 3 and under. Stories come alive for children when they are read to aloud! Beginning Monday, June 24th and every Monday during the summer at 11am & 1PM enjoy storytime inside one of our operating trolleys. When the story is over you will be treated to a 3 mile round trip trolley ride. Adults $11, Children ages 4-11 $8, 3 and under $4 and Museum members half off. For those who purchase an admission ticket for storytime will receive 10% off in the gift shop.
