Stories come alive for children when they are read to aloud! Beginning Monday, June 18th and every Monday during the summer at 11am enjoy storytime inside on of our operating trolleys. When the story is over you will be treated with a 3 mile round trip trolley ride. Adults $10, Children ages 4-11 $7, 3 and under free and Museum members half off. For those who purchased a admission ticket for storytime will receive 10% off in the gift shop.
Summer Yoga
Join yoga instructor Diane Ross for 8 weeks of yoga! Summer classes will be held on Monday evenings from 6:15pm-7:30pm in the East Windsor Middle School cafeteria. Participants can enter through the loading dock entrance of the school. Registration forms must be filled out and checks can be made payable to Diane Ross. Walk-ins are also welcome!

Each week there is food, a DJ, raffles, and trophies. There are theme nights on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

The Fire Truck Show will give visitors the opportunity to get up close and personal with all aspects of the firefighting industry including over twenty fire trucks to view.
During your visit you will also learn more about the Fire Truck Museum collection along with local Fire Departments equipment & vehicles. Don’t miss your opportunity to sit in real fire trucks, try on fireman’s turnout gear and take home a souvenir kids fire hat.
Shaker Pines Fire Department will have on property their “Kid’s Smoke Trailer Simulator”. Shaker Pines will teach simulation drills of how to handle a fire in the home.
Ride selected trolleys from our incredible collection, navigate through the Visitors Center packed full of historic trolleys & dress up as a junior motorman at the imagination station. You can ride the Trolley cars as many times as you would like! For the convenience of all, food and refreshments will be available for purchase.
The Connecticut Trolley Museum is located at 58 North Road (Rt. 140) and is a short 15 minutes north of Hartford or a short 15 minutes south of Springfield. The Museum will be open from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Admission is $12.00 for ages 13 and up, $11.00 for seniors 62 and up, $10.00 for ages 4-12 and $3 for ages 3 and under.
