Annual 1st Day Hike- 2017
The East Windsor American Heritage River Commission is hosting their 14th annual New Year’s Day hike.
Come explore the 2.5 mile loop trail. Hike steps off promptly at 1:00pm in the parking area at end of Melrose Road, Broad Brook. Dress appropriately for weather and proper footwear for conditions. Friendly/leashed dogs are welcomed. Donations will be collected for our local food pantry (human and pet items). Hot chocolate and a warming barrel will be provided. Spafford is known for their astonishing improvisational ability and off-the-cuff extended jams, Spafford paints a picture in real-time each night with a musical palette known only to each other. It’s a private language comprised of both their talent as musicians as well as their formidable catalog of influences, spanning 90’s alt-rock radio hits to Steely Dan and The Crystal Method. Each Spafford show is a sonic pilgrimage, the journey of a team of musicians so in tune with each other that a single note communicates intent and purpose. Spafford is amongst the most creative and hard-traveling bands on the contemporary jam scene, performing countless sold-out headline dates along with high profile festival sets at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Firefly Music Festival, and many others.

Create your own one of a kind 12 inch winter themed round. We provide each student with laser cut wood pieces to create your multi layer project. Pick color combos to your liking or use our example as inspiration. The options to make this piece your own are endless! Our projects consist of multiple laser cut pieces that you paint seperately and piece back together like a puzzle to ensure each piece comes out exactly as you want with no paint transfer. We use a variety of paints and other crafting supplies to create our signs. This makes it easy for any skill level to create the perfect piece to take home that day. Erica is always around to help with everyones project.
Our classes are non refundable but anyone who is not able to attend is welcome to stop by for a take home kit.
Leon Trout & Jelly!
Leon Trout is a four-piece jam influenced rock band based out of Massachusetts that will shatter all of your expectations. With songs mixing rock, metal, funk, psychedelic rock, and more, you get the perfect mix of foot stompers and head bangers. Leon Trout is also known for creating their own cover mashups with seamless transitions from one song into another that are sure to surprise you.
