Harvest Artists Market at Agonist Gallery @ Agonist Gallery
Sep 22 @ 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
Great Opportunity to see Local Artists -See Note from Jeff Holcombe Owner of Agonist Gallery.
Dear Fellow Artists and Friends of Agonist Gallery,

On Sunday, September 22, Agonist Gallery will host our Harvest Artists Market. Still need new profiles of artists exhibiting with Agonist Gallery for our new Patreon site. Please let me know if you are interested.

All area visual artists are invited to bring 1-3 pieces for display in the gallery for the day (more if there’s room)- 11 am to 4 pm. There are no commissions on sales, and the price to exhibit is only $10 at the door. There will be no charge for our visitors, and there is ample parking.

Bring some new work to share and test out. Our Artists Markets are a place for artists to show new work without great expense or time commitment. Accepted work includes photography, painting, drawing, and sculpture. Work will be hung on display panels normally used for outdoor art fairs.

There will be time for set-up between 10:30 am and 11 am. “At the Dam Restaurant” next door is open to 1 pm. Hope to see you there!

Rails to the Darkside- @ CT Trolley Museum
Oct 4 @ 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

As the fall chill fills the air, on the darkest of nights, mournful cries of the abandoned dead are heard on the tracks at the Connecticut Trolley Museum. Come for a scare if you dare…the next trolley ride is an express to the Darkside! During this haunted experience, ride vintage trolleys into the dark woods for a fear that you will never forget. Listen to the tale of yesteryear, as you learn of a hastily moved cemetery whose bodies were left behind…their angry souls seeking their revenge. Will you survive? The event will be held on Friday and Saturday nights starting October 4th. This experience is rated PG-13 and may be too intense for the squeamish. Hours are 7pm-9:30pm (gates open at 6:15pm for ticket sales). Admission is $18 per person and recommended for ages 16+.
