The work of Nutmeg Senior Rides is deceptively simple for how vital it is to the health and well-being of riders and the communities served. We provide “door-to-door” rides, meaning we pick people up at their residences and help them to our cars and bring them directly to the door of where they need to go, unlike buses and other public transit that require riders to get to stops on their own regardless of ability.  We are there literally every step of the way.

For many we are their “lifeline” to the community!
