Save the date! We’ll be opening for the season on Friday, March 23! Excited to see all of our loyal customers again! #countdowntospring #shoplocalIn 1974,
Their Story East Windsor residents Francis Revay and his wife, Lorraine, welcomed their first customers to a small fruit, vegetable and garden stand. More than 40 years later, with numerous expansions, the business is overseen by their daughter Kathy Hart and son-in-law Charles Hart.
The Easter Bunny will be roaming the grounds and posing for pictures from 11am-3pm. Each child will receive an Easter egg with a surprise inside when they complete an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt.
Take as many trolley rides as you would like operated by period dressed motormen. Learn historic information about each car you ride and how the museum began. Inside the Visitor Center you will find more static trolley cars and artifacts, a theater showing a short film about trolleys and a gift shop to buy that ‘special’ souvenir. On the same grounds is the Connecticut Fire Museum complete with antique fire trucks and apparatus. All activities and Fire Truck Museum entrance is included with your admission price.
There are picnic tables on the grounds so pack a lunch and relax awhile as you watch the trolleys arrive and depart from North Road Station.
Admission prices are $12 for Adults, $11 for Seniors (62+), Children (ages 4-12) $10, children (ages 3 & under) $3 and Museum Members receive half off admission. The Museum is open from 10am-4:30pm, for more information visit www.ct-trolley.org or call 860-627-6540. The Connecticut Trolley Museum is located at 58 North Road (Rt. 140) and is a short 15 minutes north of Hartford or a short 15 minutes south of Springfield.
Showing the movie Wonder, Saturday March 24 at 1 pm. Wonder is based on the best selling book by R. J. Palacio. There is no fee, and children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult through the movie.
