Pumpkin Patch Trolley is a family fun filled adventure where you ride on a trolley car out to the pumpkin patch and each person can pick out a pumpkin. Additionally when you return back to the Museum you can decorate the pumpkins, get your face painted (from 11am-3pm on Sat & Sun), enjoy the outside play area Including a cornbox, train playscape and the entire museum. Don’t forget you can take as many Trolley rides as you would like. This event will run Fri-Sun in October starting Oct 5th and also on Monday, Oct 8th (Columbus Day).
The Connecticut Trolley Museum is located at 58 North Road (Rt. 140) and is a short 15 minutes north of Hartford or a short 15 minutes south of Springfield. Admission is $12.00 for ages 13 and up, $11.00 for seniors 62 and up, $10.00 for ages 4-12, $3.00 for children under 3 and Museum Members half price. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST KICKS OFF THE OPERA HOUSE PLAYERS 5OTH ANNIVERSARY SEASON.
Opera House Players, Inc. presents Beauty and The Beast at the Enfield Annex (formerly Fermi High School), 124 North Maple Street, Enfield, CT 06082 on November 2nd through 25th (Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm). Step into the enchanted world of Broadway’s modern classic, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. This tale as old as time is sure to provide and enchanted night for all members of the family both young and old.
This production of Beauty and The Beast will be directed by Becca Coolong, with musical direction from Devon Bakum and choreography by Krista Brueno.

Local Bee keeper, David Mosher will be sharing his hobby at the Warehouse Point Library, 107 Main Street, East Windsor on Saturday, November 3 at 1 pm. He will discuss the life cycle of bees, the hierarchy of the hive along with bee genetics. David, a resident of East Windsor runs a small family farm producing honey, maple syrup, pastured pork, fresh herbs and vegetables, and pickles made from own cucumbers.
