Pumpkin Patch Trolley is a family fun filled adventure where you ride on a trolley car out to the pumpkin patch and each person can pick out a pumpkin. Additionally when you return back to the Museum you can decorate the pumpkins, get your face painted (from 11am-3pm on Sat & Sun), enjoy the outside play area Including a cornbox, train playscape and the entire museum. Don’t forget you can take as many Trolley rides as you would like. This event will run Fri-Sun in October starting Oct 5th and also on Monday, Oct 8th (Columbus Day).
The Connecticut Trolley Museum is located at 58 North Road (Rt. 140) and is a short 15 minutes north of Hartford or a short 15 minutes south of Springfield. Admission is $12.00 for ages 13 and up, $11.00 for seniors 62 and up, $10.00 for ages 4-12, $3.00 for children under 3 and Museum Members half price. The Library will be screening Iris, on Thursday, October 18 at 1 pm. Iris, pairs the late documentarian Albert Maysles (Grey Gardens, Gimme Shelter), then 87, with Iris Apfel, the quick-witted, flamboyantly dressed, 93 year old style maven who has had an outsized presence on the New York fashion scene for decades. This film is shown in collaboration with POV, PBS’ award-winning nonfiction film series. Refreshments will be served.

**Note This event is geared toward adults, it is not recommended for young children.
Ride the rails into the dark country side and hear the story of the cemetery on the property and what happens when you dig it up. Can your heart take it, come ride and see what everyone is talking about.
Additionally, hear the tales of unsolved mysteries that left ghostly imprints in our history as you walk through two terrifying haunted tours.
