First Day Hike ~ Wednesday, January 1, 2025
Scantic River State Park, 100 Melrose Road, Broad Brook CT
The East Windsor American Heritage River Commission is hosting their 15th annual New Year’s Day hike. Come explore the 2.5 mile loop trail. Hike steps off at 1:00pm in the parking area at end of Melrose Road, Broad Brook. Dress appropriately for weather and proper footwear for conditions. Friendly/leashed dogs are welcomed. Donations will be collected for our local food pantry (human and pet items). Hot chocolate and a warming barrel will be provided.
