Based on the hit Movie, Sister Act is a high energy comedy with a witty script. Deloris, a sassy and headstrong African American singer with great talent and ambition, but very little success, witnesses a murder committed by her gangster boyfriend, Curtis. Police Officer and Deloris’ former classmate Eddie, hides her in a convent until she can testify in court. Deloris brings new life to the failing church with her high energy funky gospel, and discovers what it means to be a part of something more meaningful than fame.

WHPFD Blood Drive Warehouse Point Fire Department is hosting a Blood Drive with the American Red Cross on Wednesday October 11th from 1:30pm-6:30pm.
In the aftermath of disasters like Hurricane Irma & Hurricane Harvey your donation is urgently needed.
The American Red Cross is asking donors in areas not impacted by the severe weather to donate now to ensure a sufficient blood supply. It is critically important that donors in other parts of the country give so that all patients nationwide can receive the blood products they need when disaster strikes the Red Cross is able to move these blood products to the areas where they are needed most.
Please sign-up TODAY to donate at our Blood Drive on 10.11.17!
When the Hartford and Springfield Street Railway built a branchline from Warehouse Point to Rockville in 1905, a small cemetery near Newberry Road stood in the way of a straight-as-an-arrow trolley line. The cemetery was relocated to a spot of dry land along Route 140 near the tracks. The air around the cemetery always had a chill after the move and the locals kept away, letting Mother Nature take over.
Years later as the trolley museum began planning for the Visitor Center, workers began surveying the land and found the gravestones from the old cemetery hidden in the woods. Oddly enough, further inspection found that there were only headstones… no coffins or remains were in the earth.
Today, during the darkest of the nights, the mournful cries of the abandoned dead are heard around old Newberry Road and the trolley museum’s Newberry Siding. Do you dare ride to the darkside?
This event is rated PG-13 and is not recommended for young children.
