Hello CTM Friends,

We have begun our Annual Fund Drive with the goal of raising up to $170,000 to support the Museum’s operating budget and 2023 work plan. Thanks to some earlier gifts and grant awards that we have already received we now stand at the $104,000 mark. A listing of those contributions is in the link below. I hope that you will join with these other donors so that the Museum can continue to move forward with its ambitious multi-year development program. Gifts can be made online using the links below or you can mail in a gift.

**IF YOU HAVE ALREADY MADE A CONTRIBUTION,Thank You very much. We appreciate your generosity.

Some highlights of this year’s work plan:

· To put into service a newly donated piece of equipment from Museum patron Phil Palmieri – a tie handler that will enable our track department volunteers to replace large numbers of ties efficiently

· To perform substantial restoration work on our 97 year old trolley Springfield Electric Railway Car 16 which is part of our operating fleet

· To continue with indoor and outdoor painting projects to freshen up the Museum’s appearance including the contract painting of the large doors of our two trolley barns

· To continue converting the old outdoor snack bar into a much needed trolley operations office which has already had a new ductless heating and cooling system installed thank to a contribution from the Miller Oil Company in Enfield, Conn.

· To deploy the new wheelchair lift which will give access to our trolleys to visitors with mobility issues

· To substantially complete the restoration work on Connecticut Company Car 3001 which saw lengthy service in Connecticut by assigning full time staff to the project and finally

· To engage the services of an engineering firm to help us plan for the installation of a site drainage system and paved parking lot utilizing our Federal grant award funds

A gift in any amount would be appreciated. If you are able to do so, you could join the Heritage Club with a gift ranging from $500 to $2,000 or you could join the Leadership Circle with a gift ranging from $2,500 and up. Also, if you wish, you could designate your gift specifically for the Car 3001 restoration project. All gifts will be promptly recognized and added to the Museum’s 2023 Contributions Report. If you want to remain anonymous, please let us know. Click here to donate to the Annual Fund Drive or click here to donate to car 3001.

Thank you for your consideration!

Sincerely,

Gina Maria Alimberti
