Syme Family Farm  says “Thank you for your overwhelming support and excitement around opening our Christmas Tree reservations this weekend”!

They know that a reservation system is a little unusual, this is the third year we are using it and a handful of other Connecticut Christmas Tree farms also use this method.
This will explain why:
In Covid year 2020 they had a record number of families looking for a safe, outdoor family experience. That year was also the first year they were named a top Connecticut Christmas Tree farm by Yankee Magazine!
They had over 2000 people visit on Thanksgiving weekend alone. It was insane, the parking lot was overflowing, people were parking up and down the street, they were fighting for trees and cut down trees that were too young. They couldn’t hold the crowds back. They didn’t open for Christmas 2021 because our tree inventory had been depleted.
2022 was the start of of the Tree Reservation System.
It has worked wonderfully for the guests and for the farm team. They received a lot of positive feedback about the reservation system, but they also realize it’s not for everyone.
They know exactly how many trees they have available to sell and they have a certain amount of families each hour so it’s never crazy.
Customers have a fun, relaxed, family-friendly experience because the parking lot and farm are never overly crowded.
