“New York’s Finest Tribute to STING & The Police” is a live musical tribute to the hit songs of the 70’s and 80’s iconic Rock artists STING & THE POLICE.

New York’s Finest was founded on a dare for a classic album tribute night in New York City. The Challenge: “Can you guys perform The Police’s 1st album?” Challenge accepted!

“NYF’s” tribute steers concert fans through The Police’s early punk era and evolves to the more sophisticated material of their later records and Sting’s solo catalog.

“NYF” stays true to the 3 band member line up of The Police while they tap into the signature style of the funky reggae pop rock fusion that Sting & The Police made a global phenomenon.

“NYF” features Mark Rinzel of “Jessie’s Girl” The worlds hottest 80’s tribute band. Mark is one of the few humans who can play bass and sing like 70’s/80’s era Sting.

“NYF” spotlights Oscar Bautista session and broadway orchestra guitarist recreating the signature sonic landscapes that guitarist Andy Summers designed for The Police.

“NYF” showcases Producer/Engineer Alan Camlet on drums delivering the ferocity and infectious grooves of Stewart Copeland.

“New York’s Finest” performs in New York City, the surrounding East Coast and Nationwide.

Additionally the tribute show has traveled abroad to Brazil in South America where they were met with sold out appearances in clubs, theaters and music venues.

Whitesnake’s Joel Hoekstra and Devil City Angels’ Brandon Gibbs have joined forces to form a powerhouse acoustic duo, playing limited dates in between working with their many other successful projects. Their live duo performances are both intimate and high-energy, featuring a wide variety of material from bands that each of them has been a part of, along with innovative original music, and great stories from their respective careers. The energy and stage presence that radiates from these two make this a “must see” show. Their mix of song choices leaves the audience begging for more as there is literally something for everyone. Both Brandon and Joel have a long history of bands they have either been a part of or performed with including Whitesnake, Devil City Angels, Poison, Night Ranger, Cher, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra to name only a few. RoC (Roots of Creation) has taken on a unique new project: Grateful Dub: a Reggae-infused tribute to the Jerry Garcia & The Grateful Dead. Combining their longtime love for Reggae-Dub style music and the Grateful Dead, RoC reworked some of the world’s favorite Dead tunes into a new studio album. RoC had the pleasure of working in the studio with the legendary 5-time Grammy winner Errol Brown who was Bob Marley’s sound engineer for this project. Grateful Dub is also being performed live in its entirety at festivals, theatres, and clubs around the country, and features rotating live special guests that has included Melvin Seals (Jerry Garcia Band), Scott Guberman (Phil Lesh), Zach Nugent, RyMo, AG, & Paul W. (Slightly Stoopid), G. Love (G. Love & Special Sauce), Mihali (Twiddle), Dan Kelly (Fortunate Youth) and others. Grateful Dub captures the spirit and magic of the Grateful Dead, while laying it down Reggae-Dub style.
